How Our Sludge Dewatering System Works

The sludge dewatering and conditioning system we established operates as an integrated solution, with three coordinated material lines: chemical conditioning, sludge dewatering and transport, and lime addition.

Sludge from the external sludge tank is pumped into the conditioning tank, while chemicals are automatically prepared in the dosing tank according to a set ratio, forming a stable solution that is simultaneously delivered to the conditioning tank. After conditioning, the sludge enters the belt filter press, where stable and continuous solid-liquid separation is achieved. The dewatered sludge is continuously discharged from the filter press and conveyed steadily to the mixer for the next blending stage.

Lime is first unpacked using a bag breaker and then stored and metered in the precision feeder. Equipped with an anti-bridging shaft and a screw conveyor, the precision feeder prevents lime from clumping or arching, ensuring smooth, accurate feeding. The metered lime is then transported to the mixer.

In the mixer, dewatered sludge and lime are thoroughly combined. The lime further conditions and adsorbs moisture from the sludge, reducing its water content and improving material consistency. Once mixing is complete, the blended material can be conveyed to storage equipment or forwarded to the next stage of processing.
